Class Schedule

 

 Monday   6-7:30pm  (No Gi)  (Fundamentals)

Wednesday  6-7:30pm  (Gi)  (Open techniques)

Thursday 6-730pm  (No Gi)  (Fundamentals)

Saturday   10-11:30am   (Gi)  (Fundamentals)

 (must be 18 or over to attend class) 

 

 Classes will have a brief warmup section (stretches/ BJJ movements) lasting about 5-10 minutes long followed by an instructional section (fundamentals/open techniques) lasting about 30 minutes long.  Finally, we will get to put our skills to work during the remainder of the class which will be spent open rolling about 45-60 minutes. 

 

Fundamentals = Core/Basic moves or movements in BJJ.  These classes will focus on the principles of solid BJJ through movements/techniques and ideas which show what is really the core of BJJ.  The idea is for the student to learn the principles behind the "why" things work.  Thereby, allowing the student to learn at a faster rate and solve their own problems. 

Open technique class = A mixture of different techniques covering the various positions in BJJ (ie. half guard, open guards, kneeling passes, side mount attacks, escapes, turtle attacks, etc.) 

 

"No gi" classes require a T-shirt or Rash Guard/Shorts/Gi pants.

Stop in and to either try or observe a class. 

Classes are conducted in relaxed/no stress environment.
